Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks a Structural Associate Engineering Technician for Overhead Transmission in a hybrid setup. The role focuses on structural modeling, drawings, and details using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and PLS-CADD within the VDDS group. Experience with drafting and engineering design technology is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate preferred. Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years related work experience.
• Onboarding requirements may include background check, drug screen, and MVR search in compliance with laws.

Responsibilities

• Supports engineering teams under general supervision.
• Performs technical tasks with intermediate knowledge of engineering principles.
• Uses CAD, BIM, 3D modeling tools.
• Creates, updates, and maintains technical drawings and deliverables.
• Mentors junior engineering technicians and aligns with BV quality standards.
• Maintains documentation and ensures project outputs meet standards.
