Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Structural Associate Engineering Technician for overhead transmission projects in a hybrid work environment. The role focuses on creating and modifying structural models, drawings, and details using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and PLS-CADD, contributing to grid projects and infrastructure.

Qualifications

Diploma or Certificate preferred.
Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

Supports engineering teams under general supervision.
Performs technical tasks with intermediate knowledge of engineering principles.
Uses CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling tools.
Creates and updates technical drawings and deliverables.
Provides mentorship to junior technicians.
Adheres to BV quality program and procedures.
Ensures accuracy and consistency across project outputs.
Coordinates deliverables with other project groups.
