Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Associate Structural - Transmission Line Engineer to support global transmission projects, performing design engineering and analysis of transmission line work. The role involves large 345kV+ rebuilds and new build efforts, including HVDC considerations.

You will collect data, perform calculations, and develop equipment/material recommendations, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and quality goals. Hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
• Experience with utility-scale projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support global transmission projects performing design engineering and analysis of transmission line work.
• Support large 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield projects, including HVDC and 765kV.
• Collect and assimilate data for engineering work and prepare calculations.
• Develop equipment/material recommendations and manage budget, schedule and quality.
