Job summary

Black & Veatch is hiring an Associate Structural - Transmission Line Engineer to support global transmission projects across multiple US offices with a hybrid work setup.

You will perform design engineering and analysis of transmission line work, contribute to 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield programs, and collect data for calculations in line with industry standards. You will work with cross-functional teams and potentially support business development.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, MVR) as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Support global transmission projects performing design engineering and analysis of transmission line work.
• Support large, extensive 345kV+ rebuild and greenfield projects, including HVDC and 765kV.
• Collect and assimilate data for engineering work and perform calculations per standards.
• Develop recommendations for equipment and materials within budget, schedule, and quality constraints.
• Assist with guidance to engineering team members and client communications; may support business development.
