Job summary

Exo seeks an experienced engineer to join its Overhead Transmission Line Engineering group. You will tackle challenging power-delivery projects, design and analyze using industry-standard tools, and mentor less experienced staff while collaborating with clients and vendors.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering, 3+ years of experience, and EIT licensure; PE preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in software described in Key Competencies.
• EIT Licensed.
• Knowledge of relevant codes and standards.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: PE Licensed.

Responsibilities

• Develop deliverables and perform routine design and analysis independently.
• Conduct engineering and design using engineering software and internal tools.
• Design routine projects.
• Work within a team and independently.
• Provide input to project planning efforts.
• Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project objectives.
• Interact with clients, vendors, and other project stakeholders.
• Participate in project meetings.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff.
• Participate in business development and proposal development.
• Review design work produced by other project participants following quality procedures.
• Ensure designs meet client standards, safety, design code, constructability, and cost-efficiency requirements.
