Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems, including working on energized lines. Travel to multiple sites, including out-of-state locations, is required; you report to the Foreman and operate bucket trucks and related equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, training apprentices, and performing live-line work with PPE and insulated tools. Candidates must have CDL and extensive overhead line experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry up to 50 pounds and work extended hours.
• Willing to work outages, storms, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems with safety as priority.
• Lead crew in absence of the Employee in Charge and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks and related equipment.
• Perform live-line work using gloves and hot-stick techniques.
