Job summary

Pike Electric LLC seeks a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems with a safety-first approach. You will work on energized lines, travel to various job sites, and report to the Foreman.

You will lead crew members in the absence of the Employee in Charge, train apprentices, and perform live-line work using gloving and hot-stick techniques. Safety PPE is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of overhead line experience required.
• Valid CDL required.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Live-line work experience and gloving/hot-stick techniques desirable.
• Commitment to safety protocols and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems safely.
• Lead crew in absence of supervisor and conduct pre-job safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Demonstrate switching, tagging, grounding on energized/de-energized lines.
