Job summary

Pike Electric LLC seeks a Class A Lineman to construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to different job sites, including out-of-state locations, reporting to the Foreman. Safety comes first in all tasks.

Requirements include five years of overhead line experience, a valid CDL, willingness to travel, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and readiness for extended hours, including outages and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work extended hours including on-call/outages.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair overhead distribution systems with safety first.
• Lead crew members in absence of supervision and conduct safety briefings.
• Train and mentor apprentices and groundmen.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Operate bucket trucks, digger derricks and other equipment; work outdoors in varied conditions.
• Perform live-line work with proper PPE and insulated tools.
