Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Manassas, VA is seeking a Class B Lineman to build and repair overhead distribution systems with safety first. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to out-of-state sites as needed.

You will report to the Foreman and perform live-line work, install hardware, operate bucket trucks and other equipment, and follow strict PPE protocols in varying outdoor conditions. This role requires CDL and 3+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours including weekends, holidays, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators, conductors and related hardware.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE, operate bucket trucks and other equipment.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and during outages or emergencies.
