Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to build, repair and maintain overhead distribution systems. You will work on energized and de-energized lines and may travel to various job sites, including out‑of‑state locations, reporting to the Foreman with a strong safety focus.

Minimum requirements include three years of overhead line experience and a valid CDL. You must be willing to travel, lift up to 50 pounds, and work outside standard hours, including emergencies and overtime.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform new construction, maintain and repair overhead distribution systems while prioritizing safety.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Follow switching and tagging procedures, grounding and voltage safety on energized lines.
• Climb structures using approved methods and equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and at heights.
• Operate bucket trucks and other line equipment safely.
• Be available for outages, storms, emergencies and on-call rotations.
