Job summary

A leading electrical contractor in South Carolina is seeking a skilled Class A Lineman responsible for construction, maintenance, and repair of electrical overhead distribution systems. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of field experience, be able to lift over 50 lbs, and hold a Commercial Driver’s License. Key responsibilities include working safely on energized systems and leading crew members. This position requires outdoor work in various weather conditions and may require travel to different locations.

Qualifications

• 5-year minimum of recent field experience.
• Able to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License permit within 60 days of employment.
• Able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Works safely while performing construction and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Installs transformers, lightening arrestors, switches, and insulators.
• Capable of leading crew members in the absence of the Foreman.
