Job summary

Pike Electric LLC in Kingsport, TN seeks a Class B Lineman to build and repair overhead distribution systems, including energized lines, and to report to the Foreman on project goals and safety standards.

The role requires climbing, operating bucket trucks, and willingness to work outages, with travel to out-of-state sites as needed. A CDL and safety-first mindset are essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of overhead line experience (minimum).
• Willing to travel to out-of-state locations as needed.
• CDL license may be required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance and repair of overhead distribution systems, energized or de-energized.
• Install and repair overhead lines, poles, insulators and related hardware.
• Follow switching, tagging, grounding procedures and use appropriate test equipment.
• Climb structures and operate bucket trucks and other line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and participate in on-call rotation for outages and emergencies.
