Job summary

Pike Electric LLC is seeking a Class B Lineman to safely construct and repair overhead distribution systems. You may work on energized lines and travel to various job sites as needed, reporting to the Foreman.

The role involves performing new construction, maintenance, and emergency outage work with a strong emphasis on safety and the ability to operate bucket trucks and other line equipment. CDL is required and long-distance travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Three years of overhead line experience.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift, carry, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work outside normal hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair overhead distribution systems.
• Work on energized and de-energized lines with safety first.
• Install and repair overhead power lines, poles, insulators and conductors.
• Operate and maintain bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioners and other overhead line equipment.
• Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions and outages.
