Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Overhead Journeyman Lineman for projects in the Port Richey, FL area. You will construct, maintain, and repair overhead distribution and transmission systems, install poles, transformers, and conductors, and operate bucket trucks and digger derricks.

You will work safely, read blueprints and schematics, and participate in on-call rotations. A Journeyman apprenticeship and a Class A CDL are required, with at least four years of overhead line

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of accredited Journeyman Lineman apprenticeship program.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as Journeyman Lineman on overhead power lines.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NESC safety practices and utility construction standards.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; physically capable of climbing poles.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain, and repair overhead distribution and transmission systems.
• Install and remove poles, crossarms, insulators, transformers, and other related equipment.
• String, sag, and splice overhead conductors.
• Operate heavy equipment including bucket trucks and digger derricks.
• Perform hot stick work and energized line work safely.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues on overhead lines.
• Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response.
• Work collaboratively with crew and communicate with supervisors.
• Complete necessary paperwork accurately.
