Job summary

Jobot is hiring an Overhead Door Technician to install, repair, and maintain overhead doors and related systems. You will work from a dynamic team, handling repairs and installations with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Salary ranges from $24 to $40 per hour, with overtime at 1.5x after 40 hours. The role offers training and clear pay progression as you gain experience and certifications, with potential for Lead/Foreman responsibilities in growth tracks.

Qualifications

Construction-site experience focused on door hanging, fabrication, or mechanical installation.
Experience with glass installation, welding, and hand/power tools.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics for overhead door systems.
Ability to lift heavy objects safely.

Responsibilities

Install, troubleshoot, and repair overhead doors—garage, sectional, rolling steel, and related hardware using hand and power tools.
Perform glass installation for door panels or windows as needed.
Conduct welding and fabrication to modify or reinforce door components to spec.
Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble and install systems.
Apply construction skills—metal stud framing, carpentry, and locksmithing—to support installation projects.
