Job summary

Banko Overhead Doors is hiring a Garage Door Installer to install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial overhead doors and openers. The role is fast-paced, outdoors, and ideal for a mechanically inclined candidate who enjoys problem-solving. Training period starts at $22/hr.

The position requires driving to sites, lifting heavy loads, and strong customer service. Full-time schedule includes medical/dental, 401(k), PTO, and holiday pay, with company vehicle and gas card provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Mechanically inclined and hands-on skillset.
• Ability to work full-time and in outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean 3-year MVR (required).
• Experience in garage doors, construction, framing, HVAC, or similar trades preferred.
• Ability to lift/move 70+lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain overhead garage doors and openers.
• Drive to job sites and complete assigned work orders.
• Inspect and ensure proper function of mechanical/electronic components.
• Communicate with customers to provide excellent service.
• Document completed work and maintain parts inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe work site and company vehicle.
