Job summary

Electra Grid Solutions in Wisconsin is seeking a Distribution Lineman B to support the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead distribution lines. This mid-level role works independently and with a crew, building skills to advance to Lineman A.

The position requires climbing poles, operating bucket trucks, and following safety procedures. Valid Driver’s License and willingness to overtime and travel for storm work are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in overhead distribution line work is required (minimum 2 years).
• Must be able to climb wood poles and work from heights safely.
• Valid Driver’s License; CDL Class A preferred or able to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with constructing, maintaining, and repairing overhead distribution systems.
• Climb wood utility poles and work from elevated positions with PPE.
• Operate bucket trucks to install or repair power lines and equipment.
• Pull and install new wire, set poles, and perform safety procedures.
