Job summary

Konecranes Nuclear Equip and Services LLC is seeking an experienced Industrial Technician to service overhead cranes and hoists at customer sites across the United States. This role involves troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, performing repairs, and ensuring safety features are functional.

The position requires the ability to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and travel as needed. A high school diploma is required, with an associate degree or vocational training preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• 1+ year experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Prior crane experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service as part of rotation; after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic crane issues on site.
• Perform post-repair safety audits and document findings with recommended actions.
• Communicate with customers on repair and safety issues and provide improvement suggestions.
• Produce electronic service reports and obtain customer signatures.
• Stay current on OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and related standards.
