Job summary

Konecranes is seeking a skilled Overhead Crane Service Technician to service electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites across the United States. The role emphasizes safety, on-site diagnostics, and customer communication.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (Associate degree preferred) and at least 1 year of electrical and mechanical repair experience. Travel, overtime, and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma; Associate degree preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair
• Willingness to work off the ground, travel, and be on call as needed

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation including after-hours support
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site
• Produce electronic documentation and obtain customer signatures
• Stay updated on OSHA/ANSI/CMAA/HMI codes and safety regulations
