Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician to become an experienced Overhead Crane Service Technician. You will troubleshoot 480 3-phase motors, diagnose crane issues at customer sites across the United States, and work from heights in a safety-first environment.

The role requires a high school diploma and electrical/mechanical aptitude, on-call rotation availability, and the ability to travel. A strong emphasis on safety, documentation, and customer communication will be essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred or equivalent training.
• 1+ year experience with electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Willingness to travel and work off-ground; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer sites.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Document findings and suggest corrective actions; obtain customer signatures.
