Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician to inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations across the United States. This safety-sensitive role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical expertise, with on-call rotation and potential travel.

You will document findings and coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred or equivalent training.
• Minimum 1 year experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Willingness to travel and work off the ground; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation and after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers.
• Communicate with Field Operations Manager and Service Coordinator following established practices.
