Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a Crane Operator in El Dorado, KS. You will operate overhead bridge cranes, secure and move loads, and support manufacturing processes on a night shift from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am (training 5:00 am–3:30 pm, Mon–Thu).

The role requires safety-first work habits, ability to read shop drawings and tapes, and prior crane experience. Starting wage is $22.68/hr with a $1.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform simple math and interpret shop drawings.
• Ability to become Valmont trained and certified overhead crane.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to solve practical problems and work with others.
• Ability to meet production, safety, and quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead bridge cranes to lift, move, and place loads.
• Inspect cables, grappling devices, and lifting gear for wear or damage.
• Review delivery schedules and loading instructions for production lines.
• Set up and operate grinding machines to finish metal parts.
• Wear PPE and maintain a safe, productive work area.
