Job summary

Steel and Pipe Supply in Oklahoma is seeking an Overhead Crane Operator to support shipping and receiving. You will safely operate overhead cranes to move steel plates, organizing the warehouse to keep orders on schedule.

The role requires basic math, computer skills and the ability to read work instructions, with an 8-hour 1st shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The team offers strong pay, overtime options, and comprehensive benefits.

Your Role & Impact

As an Overhead Crane Operator, you are the backbone of our shipping and receiving. You will safely operate overhead cranes to steel plate to keep our warehouse perfectly organized. By getting the right materials in the right place, you directly ensure our customers stay on schedule.

The Work Environment (What to Expect)

This job isn’t for everyone, and we take pride in that you will do well here if you are energized by a hard day's work.

• Schedule: 1st shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), Monday through Friday—keep your weekends free!
• Active Work: You’ll be on your feet, walking, standing, and staying active for up to 8 hours a day.
• Physical Strength: Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of material up to 51 lbs.
• The Elements: This is a real-world industrial environment. You’ll work through the changing seasons (heat and cold) and you will get some dirt on your hands.
• Fast-Paced: The environment changes quickly, keeping your days interesting and rewarding.
