Job summary

Kloeckner Metals - Americas in Alpharetta, GA seeks a reliable Crane Operator/Loader to manage inbound and outbound shipments and support warehouse operations. You will safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts, read product specs, and ensure accurate shipping paperwork.

The requirements include 2 years crane experience, a valid crane certification, a high school diploma or GED, and knowledge of DOT load regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience operating overhead cranes in an industrial or distribution setting.
• Valid overhead crane operation certification required.
• High School diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related training/experience.
• Knowledge of DOT load weight regulations.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operate equipment.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Willingness to learn and train others.
• Ability to pass a vision/hearing/mobility physical.
• Demonstrated reliable work history.
• Attention to detail and quality in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Understand products, read measuring devices.
• Unload inbound stock and load outbound shipments; complete paperwork.
• Safely load trucks with proper chaining and tarping.
• Perform other duties to support warehouse operations.
