Job summary

Crane 1 Services in Indianapolis is seeking a Service Technician to perform field maintenance, inspections, preventative and complex repairs on overhead cranes. You will troubleshoot electromechanical systems up to 480V, work at heights, and provide customer-facing documentation and recommendations.

The role requires 2+ years of industrial electrical/mechanical experience, a valid driver's license, and 8–12 hour shifts with possible weekend work.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing/industrial electrical or mechanical experience.
Thorough knowledge of electrical theory for power and controls.
Thorough knowledge of cranes/hoists mechanical systems.
Understanding of OSHA/ANSI standards.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.
8–12 hour shift work, including Saturdays and Sundays as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, inspection, and repairs on overhead cranes without compromising safety or quality.
Document findings and provide recommendations to customers for inspected equipment.
Provide checklists, forms, and signatures for all service documentation.
Maintain a safe, professional, productive, and compliant work environment.
Other duties as assigned.
