Job summary

Konecranes is seeking an Industrial Technician to service overhead cranes nationwide from customer sites across the United States. The role emphasizes electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, safety compliance, and on-site collaboration with clients and facility directors.

The technician will inspect, repair, and maintain electric overhead traveling cranes, participate in an on-call rotation, and stay updated on OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, and HMI standards while reporting findings digitally with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate degree preferred or equivalent training.
• 1 year minimum experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair.
• Prior crane experience a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at customer locations.
• Provide on-call service as part of a rotation, including after-hours support.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues on-site.
• Document findings and recommend corrective actions, including safety notifications to customers.
• Communicate with customers on repair and safety issues and suggest improvements.
