Barnhart is seeking a CDL-equipped driver for over-dimensional and heavy-haul transport across North America. You will operate a range of equipment, coordinate with pilot cars, and ensure safe deliveries on highway and occasional off-road routes.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Class C/D Driver's License considered.
• Experience with over-dimensional or heavy haul transport preferred.
• At least 1+ year operating large platform trailers.
• Knowledge of axle weight distribution and load securement.
• Able to operate forklifts and heavy machinery.
• Willing to learn hydraulic gantry, jacks, and movement equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Transport over-dimensional loads including modules and counterweight equipment.
• Operate equipment such as 53’ trailers, multi-axle, and overhead cranes.
• Handle local hauls, including super loads.
• Collaborate with pilot cars and crew for safe deliveries.
• Ensure DOT compliance and safety standards.
• Support highway and some off-road hauling.
