Barnhart is seeking an experienced Heavy Haul Truck Driver to move oversized loads across local and over-the-road routes in a team environment. You will operate specialized trailers, ensure safe load securement, and support maintenance of equipment to meet DOT standards.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license is required.
• Experience with heavy haul or over-dimensional loads.
• Knowledge of axle weight distribution and load securement.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to inspect and maintain equipment.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Transport over-dimensional and super loads across local and over-the-road routes.
• Operate heavy haul equipment including multi-axle trailers.
• Work as part of a team on complex loads.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Assist with assembly and inspection of trailers and hauling equipment.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and equipment checks.
