Job summary

Barnhart Energy Company is seeking an experienced Driver in Charlotte, NC to transport over-dimensional loads and operate a variety of heavy equipment. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to DOT regulations while handling both highway and occasional off-road hauls.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• Experience with over-dimensional/heavy haul transport.
• At least 1 year operating large platform trailers.
• Knowledge of axle weight distribution and load securement.
• Able to operate forklifts and heavy machinery.

Responsibilities

• Transport over-dimensional loads including modules and counterweight equipment.
• Operate a range of equipment, including 53’ trailers and multi-axle cranes.
• Handle local hauls, including super loads.
• Work with pilot cars and crew to ensure safe deliveries.
• Ensure DOT compliance and safety standards.
• Support highway and some off-road hauling.
