Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project, oversized, and over-dimensional freight shipments from planning through final delivery.
• Review shipment dimensions, weights, origins, destinations, and transportation requirements.
• Determine equipment and transportation solutions for each shipment.
• Source, qualify, and coordinate carriers capable of handling specialized freight.
• Negotiate carrier rates and transportation costs.
• Coordinate permits, routing requirements, escorts, and other specialized transportation needs.
• Track shipments and communicate with customers, carriers, and drivers.
• Resolve delays and operational problems ensuring proper documentation.
