Job summary

Pure's Food Specialties is seeking a Production Operator to ensure quality and safety standards during baking operations. You will check appearance, weight, temperature, and other specifications, and report issues to supervision.

This role requires standing for the full shift and working with minimal supervision. Responsibilities include setting up machines, loading, monitoring settings, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Education: No specific educational requirements.
• Experience: Previous experience operating and maintaining production equipment and ensuring efficient operation of the production line is required.
• Flexibility: Willing to work in other departments including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Check product quality as it comes out of the oven, including appearance, weight, temperature, and other specifications.
• Report any issues to the supervisor.
• Set up machines, conduct basic troubleshooting, loading, films, settings, monitors to ensure efficient operation.
• Stand for the entire shift and work in a standing position including climbing steps and ladders.
• Monitor equipment upstream/downstream to ensure continuous operation.
• Follow packaging schedule, quality control and sanitation procedures concerning weights, packs, descriptions, dates, cleanup and changeovers.
• Maintain and exceed production, quality and safety standards.
• Clean machines and work area during and after production runs or changeovers.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Observe plant safety, GMP and allergen procedures and attend training sessions.
• Report all food safety and quality issues to supervisor.
• Collaborate with others; share knowledge and information within the team and across functions.
• Enhance technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.
