More about the role

This role involves overseeing and optimizing industrial processes, coordinating engineering and improvement projects, and guiding manufacturing partners to enhance capacity, cost, and quality. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, project management, and local market teams, to ensure effective project execution and continuous improvement. The position is based in Istanbul.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Enhancing industrial processes at manufacturing partners to improve capacity, cost, and quality.
  2. Supporting local business development in METAP countries by managing local industrialization with partners.
  3. Managing engineering and improvement projects through partner resources to meet operational and cost objectives.
  4. Collaborating with partners to troubleshoot, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement improvements.
  5. Supporting the implementation and enhancement of standard production systems.
  6. Co-developing and managing complex engineering projects with manufacturing partners.
  7. Providing coaching and training on LEAN methodology.
  8. Tracking operational performance and advising on areas for improvement.
  9. Driving root cause analysis for output and quality issues.
  10. Ensuring design and documentation meet project specifications.
  11. Enhancing EMS/CMS maturity and ensuring quick issue resolution.
  12. Coordinating actions related to MVA or BOM cost improvements.
  13. Supporting continuous improvement of standard production systems.

More about you

  • Fluency in Turkish and English is mandatory.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations Management, including Production, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain processes.
  • Knowledge of procurement, purchasing, and supplier dealings.
  • Proven project management experience, including planning, resourcing, budgeting, and control.
  • Ability to influence, lead teams, and manage pressure.
  • Willingness to travel within the METAP region and globally as needed.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with global teams and diverse stakeholders.
