Job summary

Roberts Resorts & Communities in the United States is seeking a seasonal position from early fall to spring to manage golf cart storage, range and cart services. The role requires flexible availability including evenings and weekends and emphasizes exceptional guest service in a resort setting.

Responsibilities include assisting with golf bags, delivering carts, maintaining range operations, and ensuring clean, welcoming facilities for members and guests at our Arizona location.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with golf bags and club-cleaning; manage bag storage system.
• Provide carts for member and guest play; keep area free of debris.
• Operate equipment to retrieve and wash range balls; restock as needed.
• Arrange baskets and range balls per club standards; maintain facility cleanliness.
• Ensure a pleasant guest experience and positive guest relations.
• Complete special projects as assigned by management; stay updated on course developments.
• Keep Pro-shop and outside restrooms clean and orderly.

Position Summary

Responsible for operating the golf cart storage, range and cart services of the club.

PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES

• Assists members with golf bags, loading and unloading onto carts, club-cleaning service, and maintains bag storage system.
• Provides carts for member and guest play by bringing them to cart staging area, and returning them to cart storage free of debris, towels, scorecards, etc.
• Operates equipment to retrieve range balls from driving range and washes range balls as appropriate.
• Arranges baskets and range balls in accordance with approved club standards.
• Maintains cleanliness and neatness of equipment and facility.
• Ensures a pleasant visit for each guest; maintains effective guest relations.
• Performs special projects delegated by management.
• Stays updated on latest developments pertinent to the golf course as well as the location.
• Clean Pro-shop and outside rest room facilities

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Golf education preferred and seeking candidates to advance in the industry. Demonstrated outstanding customer service. Must possess willingness to learn and perform new golf programs, excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation. Flexibility with schedule with evenings and weekend work required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret retail product labeling. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates of an organization.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Physical Activities: While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to stand, move, jump, stand and use hands and fingers to handle, or feel. The associate frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to sit; walk; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Lifting Requirements: The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Environment Conditions: Must be able to work outside for extended periods in weather/climate typical for Arizona
