R3 Roofing & Exteriors is seeking an Outside Sales Representative I (Setter) for our January 2027 training class in the Des Moines metro area, including Urbandale, IA. You’ll engage homeowners door-to-door, introduce R3’s services, and schedule inspections with the Closer. No roof work required; strong people skills and coachable attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Self-motivated, competitive and dependable.
• Comfortable outdoors and meeting new people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Coachable and eager to learn; valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check.
• Previous roofing or sales experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Engage with homeowners through door-to-door outreach.
• Offer complimentary property inspections and generate qualified leads.
• Communicate with your assigned Closer to ensure smooth handoffs.
• Build relationships and represent R3 professionally.
• Participate in training, coaching, and team development.
