Job summary

Colonial Group seeks an entry-level Outside Sales professional to represent the company in the field under direct supervision. You will generate sales by identifying customer needs and design specifications, serving as a liaison between inside design staff, production, and customers.

You will spend most days away from the office making sales calls and gathering orders for services and products, while learning proven sales techniques on the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field with 0–2 years industry sales experience.

• Accompanies more experienced Outside Sales Reps on customer calls to learn techniques.

• Spends majority of daily activities away from employer’s place of business making sales calls and obtaining orders or contracts for services and products.
• Develops knowledge of effective sales techniques, familiarity with industry and understanding of company products and services.
• Accompanies more experienced Outside Sales Reps or Sales Manager on customer calls to become familiar with effective sales and customer service techniques.

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus 0 – 2 years industry sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
