Compensation
- Base salary: $75,000 – $115,000 annually
- Uncapped commission structure: earnings grow with performance—no ceiling
- On‑target earnings (OTE): $75,000–$145,000 in the first year, with significant growth potential beyond Year 1
- Sign‑on bonus: $5,000–$10,000
- Bonus incentives: up to an additional $20,000

Minimum Qualifications
- Two‑year technical degree or equivalent industry experience in life safety and/or electronic security systems
- Fluent in both English and Spanish
- Knowledge of fire alarm, BDA Systems, and/or electronic security systems
- Knowledge of security systems products, operation, and functionality
- Knowledge of the commercial construction industry
- Ability to read, interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications
- Understanding of Florida Building codes and NFPA fire alarm codes
- Ability to prospect, assess needs, articulate value proposition and solutions, negotiate and persuade
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Self‑starter who can work independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and build a book of business using prospecting strategies with electrical, general, and other subcontractors; MEP consultants; architects; real estate developers; financiers; property and portfolio managers; building owners; and end‑users.
- Actively pursue small to large complex fire alarm, BDA Systems, and security system sales from potential clients in the commercial, residential, and government construction industry to meet sales targets.
- Actively pursue fire alarm, security system, central station, and BDA Systems service contracts from potential clients.
- Build trust and rapport with existing and potential clients.
- Identify, qualify, and assess client needs to determine suitable products and services.
- Prepare quote, contract, bid, technical, and narrative proposals and collaterals to provide integrated solutions.
- Negotiate and close profitable contracts.
- Negotiate favorable buy terms with vendor electrical contractors on outsourced prime jobs.
- Monitor client communication and promptly respond to calls and emails.
