Job summary

Associated Scaffolding Company Inc. is seeking a dynamic sales professional to grow and maintain strong customer relationships within our Knoxville area territories.

You will focus on expanding existing accounts and pursuing new opportunities through strategic selling and cold outreach. The role requires experience in outside sales, project management, and the ability to read architectural plans while coordinating scaffold needs on-site.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or prior sales experience.
• Prior outside sales experience and/or customer service experience;
• Strong project management, new business development, and customer retention skills a must;
• Ability to read architectural plans;
• Proficiency in use of computer programs including Word, Excel, Outlook;
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
• A valid in-state driver's license with a good driving record;
• Authorization to work in the US with the ability to obtain clearance onto Federal job sites.
• Preferential consideration will be given to candidates with:
• Construction-related experience;
• Previous experience in scaffold erection or sales;
• Completion of the OSHA 30 course for construction.

Physical Requirements

• Must be capable of climbing scaffolding, ladders, etc. to take measurements of typical job site conditions.
• Occasional lifting and carrying of equipment up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods of time in all types of field conditions.
• The position requires staying calm under pressure when communicating with clients and co-workers. Avoid intimidating tone or abusive or inappropriate language.
