If you get a charge out of a cold call that turns into a meeting, count your wins, and hate losing more than you like winning, keep reading. This role was built for you.
If you're looking for a job where leads get handed to you, this isn't it. And that's okay.
Who You'd Be Working For
Our client is an owner-led commercial cleaning company in the Twin Cities. They keep offices and commercial buildings clean, night after night, so their customers can focus on running their business. They're growing, and they take care of their customers and their people.
They're looking for a hunter to help them grow.
What You'll Actually Do
You'll find new business. Not manage old accounts or wait for the phone to ring. You'll find it.
That means picking up the phone, walking into buildings and starting conversations with office managers, facility managers and property managers across the Twin Cities. You'll walk their buildings, learn what's frustrating them about their current cleaning company, and show them a better option. Then you'll follow up until you get a yes, a no, or a date.
When you land an account, you'll hand it to the operations team so the first night goes right, and you'll check in to make sure it does.
How You'll Be Measured
Numbers. Weekly. You'll know exactly what winning looks like: conversations, walkthroughs, proposals and signed contracts. If you like a scoreboard, you'll like it here. If you'd rather nobody kept score, you won't.
What It Pays

- Schedule: full-time, Monday through Friday, during normal business hours, primarily in the field across the Twin Cities.
- Mileage reimbursement: you're paid back for the miles you drive to meet prospects and walk buildings.
- Paid time off included.
- Tools: company-provided phone and laptop.
You're Probably a Fit If You
- Have sold on commission before, and liked it. You've lived with a quota and beat it.
- Are a hunter. Finding new business energizes you. "No" doesn't wreck your day; it gets you to the next call.
- Own your results. When you miss a number, you don't blame the market, the leads or the weather. You figure out what to fix and fix it.
- Read people well. You notice when someone is interested, annoyed or brushing you off, and you adjust. Strong emotional intelligence isn't optional in this role.
- Stay positive under pressure. You bring good energy into a room, even on a tough week.
- Are confident without being pushy. You can ask for the business, and you can ask hard questions.
- Follow up like it's your job. Because it is. Deals get won on the fourth and fifth touch.
- Manage yourself. Nobody will stand over your shoulder. You plan your week and work your plan.
- Are coachable. You want feedback, because you want to get better.
- Keep your pipeline clean. Notes and next steps go in the CRM the same day.
