Job summary

The Art of Cleaning in Bloomington, MN is hiring an In-Home Sales Consultant. You’ll meet residential customers in their homes, price the first cleaning on the spot, book the job, and follow up. You’ll earn a base salary plus uncapped commissions with on-target earnings between $65,000 and $90,000.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, visiting homes across the metro, quoting moves, posting jobs in Jobber, and passing leads to teammates with commissions when they close.

Qualifications

• Comfortable in customers' homes and on the phone.
• Able to estimate work and quote confidently.
• Follow up without prompting.
• Backgrounds in hospitality, retail, or related fields; pricing training provided.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.

• Quote one-time work too: move-out cleans, post-construction, deep cleans.

• Follow up twice with anyone who doesn't book at the door.
• Pass carpet, duct, window and commercial leads to the right teammate (and get paid when they close).
• Keep every customer record clean in Jobber.

In-Home Sales Consultant

The Art of Cleaning, Bloomington, MN. Full-time. $40,000 base plus uncapped commission. On-target earnings $65,000 to $90,000.

The short version

You'll be the first person our new residential customers meet. They've already called us. You visit the home, price the first clean on the spot, book it, and follow up. No cold calling, no lead lists, no chasing. We send more quotable work your way than one person can handle, and you're paid on every job you book.

Who we are

The Art of Cleaning is a women-owned residential cleaning company serving the Twin Cities since 2011. We've been named to the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal Fast 50 two years running, our crews are W-2 employees in company vehicles, and our customers stay with us for years. We're adding this role because our founder has been doing every in-home estimate herself and the phone won't stop ringing.

What you'll do

• You can look at a house, estimate the work, and say a number with confidence

• You follow up without being asked and without being pushy

• Backgrounds we like: hospitality, retail, realtor or stager assistant, in-home design or flooring sales, home-services customer service. No cleaning or sales experience required; we'll train the pricing.

• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record

Pay and schedule

• $40,000 base salary

• Commission on every job you book, paid monthly, no cap. Realistic first-year total: $65,000 to $90,000 depending on your pace

• Monday to Friday, daytime hours; occasional Saturday walkthroughs

• Monthly health insurance stipend and paid time off

• Personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement
