Misura Group, a regional building materials dealer expanding its multifamily division, is seeking a senior sales professional based in Texas. You will build durable relationships with developers, architects, and general contractors, selling value over price to drive long-term growth.
In this role you will manage large orders, coordinate with inside sales and project managers, and leverage market network to identify new opportunities as the division expands from Houston into Dallas, San Antonio,
Our client is a regional, independent building materials dealer with deep roots in Texas and a longstanding reputation for supplying high-quality products to builders and developers. With $175 million in annual revenue, the company has grown into a comprehensive supplier driven by product quality, customer relationships, and operational excellence.
The culture is collaborative and hands-on. Leadership stays close to the market, and the team takes ownership of results while looking out for one another.
As part of a deliberate strategy to gain market share, the company is diversifying beyond its core business and investing in growth segments, with multifamily as a top priority.
The Opportunity
Our client is investing in that growth strategy here: this is a growing multifamily division with limited dedicated salespeople in place yet. Presenting a rare chance to help shape a growth engine from the ground floor rather than inherit an established territory. The division leader, who has spent 40 years in the multifamily segment, is driving the build-out and will make introductions from an extensive network as the territory expands. The division carries a $120M backlog, with $18M currently sold, and the driver is market demand; the business isn't turning anything away.
Product mix centers on a full line of building materials, including mill-direct lumber that has drawn an overwhelming customer response. Projects run 100 to 400 units, with millwork contracts of $500K to $2M and lumber contracts of $750K to $3M.
You will be well supported: inside sales handles day-to-day scheduling and deliveries and coordinates with mill-direct, a project-manager-type role supports execution, a dedicated vendor/pricing resource is in place, and the estimating team handles takeoffs. A lead service also supplies permit intelligence to help identify new business.
This role offers real upside for someone willing to learn the product lines and grow with the division, including the potential to be promoted as the business scales.
