Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Longmont, CO is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to sell work truck bodies, equipment, and accessories, while identifying leads and educating prospects. The role requires managing orders and delivering exceptional customer service from Monday to Friday, with some overnight travel.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and may have an Associate’s degree or prior sales experience.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to organize and prioritize duties.
• Associate degree and/or prior sales experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Sell work truck bodies, equipment, and accessories to dealers and end customers.
• Prepare and present sales proposals and quotes; manage orders.
• Maintain relationships and provide exceptional service to customers, with some overnight travel.

This full-time position will work Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

DAY-TO-DAY AS AN OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

In this fast-paced role, you'll work directly with dealers and end customers, asking questions to determine their needs and propose appropriate equipment solutions. You'll prepare and present sales proposals, build custom quotes, place and manage orders. To be successful in this position, you'll need excellent communication skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize job duties in order to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction. This position has a designated territory and requires some overnight travel.
