Job summary

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Jefferson City, MO, is hiring an Outside Sales Representative to sell work truck bodies, equipment, and accessories. You will identify leads, educate prospects, manage orders, and provide outstanding customer service in a full-time, on-site role Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong communication, self-motivation, and teamwork, with a HS diploma or GED and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Associate's degree and/or previous sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell work truck bodies, equipment and accessories to dealers and end customers.
• Identify leads, educate prospects, and present sales proposals and quotes.
• Place and manage orders, and provide exceptional customer service and support.
• Maintain a designated sales territory, including overnight travel as needed.

This full-time position will work Monday - Friday from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

DAY-TO-DAY AS AN OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

In this fast-paced role, you'll work directly with dealers and end customers, asking questions to determine their needs and propose appropriate equipment solutions. You'll prepare and present sales proposals, build custom quotes, place and manage orders. To be successful in this position, you'll need excellent communication skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize job duties in order to meet deadlines and ensure customer satisfaction. This position has a designated territory and requires some overnight travel.
