Job summary

F&L Doors is seeking an Outside Sales and Business Development professional in Hazleton, PA. This role focuses on developing new residential and commercial contractors and requires daily travel. Responsibilities include soliciting new clients, attending trade shows, and coordinating sales efforts.

F&L Doors Outside Sales and Business Development Position

Position Summary: Position to include and focus on the development of new residential and commercial contractors as well as developing new service related contacts.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel to visit and solicit new contacts for quoting and acquiring new clients for the sales and installation of garage doors and all related products. F&L Doors will provide a company vehicle, maintenance, gas and insurance for this program.
• Position is designed to prospect new unsolicited territories and accounts as identified and approved through the consultation process with the sales manager.
• Position will require selling and cold calling on residential customers.
• Job will require a minimum workday of 8-10 hours with start and end times of 7:30-4:00 M-F and some weekend and evening times to accommodate customer’s schedules.
• Saturday work will be assigned as needed.
• Job will require participation in all company related trade shows, promotional activities, events, open building displays and all other functions that arise that are designed to help promote the sales of company products.
• Attend Sales Meetings as assigned.
• Other duties as designed by individual and approved by sales manager.

Educational Experience

• High School Diploma required.
• BA/BS, or associate degree preferred.
• Garage Doors Industry, or construction related experience a plus.
• Knowledge of the Mid Atlantic area and the surrounding areas is helpful.

Additional Requirements

• Dayshift with hours to be determined by the individual as needed to attain goals.
• Overtime may be required.
• Must be organized and be able to provide a daily journal of accounts called upon.
• Must have excellent communication skills, verbal and written
• Must coordinate all sales efforts and strategies with Sales Manager.

Physical Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, ability to drive long hours daily, and ability to lift 20 lbs.
