Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers. By performing 360 inspections – from attics to crawlspaces – you will solve problems, build trusted relationships, and deliver solutions that protect homes and families.

• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as an empathetic problem‑solver by using in‑depth training to recommend the best pest solution for each customer’s needs.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and handling assigned leads provided by our robust advertising budget.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet customers in their homes to explain how Orkin’s products and services can give them peace of mind.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of each home – we provide training to do this effectively.
• Make recommendations based on inspection findings, addressing questions, explaining the process, and setting expectations.
• Use the company iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized – training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience required.

• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required – company pays.
• Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.

Physical Requirements

• Safely use a ladder within manufacturer limits.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., with ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including an OSHA‑compliant respirator when required.
• Work in varying weather conditions.
