Responsibilities

Understand Orkin’s termite protection services and recommend solutions to customers. Conduct comprehensive inspections from attics to crawlspaces to identify pest issues and build trusted relationships.

You will:

• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Use in‑depth training to recommend the best pest solutions for each customer.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and handling assigned leads.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home.
• Make recommendations based on inspection findings, address questions, and set expectations.
• Use the iPad provided to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license or certification if required (paid by the company).
• Can work independently in the field and interact with clients.

Work Environment

• Use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, roof tops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE); may require an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
• Work in a variety of weather conditions.
