Responsibilities

you’ll be responsible for understanding Orkin’s termite protection services and making strategic recommendations to customers. Performing 360 inspections from attics to crawl spaces, you’ll solve problems and build trusted relationships.

• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Act with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Serve as an empathetic problem solver, using in‑depth training to recommend the best pest solution.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads—our advertising budget supports you.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes, explaining how Orkin’s products give them peace of mind.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home—training is provided.
• Make recommendations based on inspection findings, addressing questions and setting expectations.
• Use the provided iPad to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain the required pesticide license/certification if needed (company paid).
• Ability to work independently in the field and interact with clients.

Work Environment

Candidates must meet the physical job requirements and safely perform duties with or without accommodations:

• Safely use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• Wear PPE, including an OSHA‑compliant respirator when required.
• Willing to work in varying weather conditions.
