Job summary

New Castle Building Products seeks a full-time Outside Sales Representative for our East Berlin, CT branch. You will call on existing customer accounts, generate new business, and provide accurate quotes while coordinating with inside sales and the branch team.

Ideal candidates bring a proactive sales mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Bi-lingual skills and prior sales experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Call on existing customer accounts and increase sales revenues.
• Work to generate new accounts.
• Provide accurate and prompt quotes.
• Follow up on quotes and awarded projects.
• Coordinate quotes and deliveries with inside sales staff.
• Help resolve customer concerns.
• Assist AR in collections when needed.
• Attend industry and product-related seminars when required.
• Prepare computer generated work orders for customers.
• Work closely with Branch Manager.
• Remain knowledgeable on changes in product lines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are currently seeking a full-time Outside Sales Representative to join our East Berlin, CT branch. In this role candidates should have an outgoing personality, ability to streamline processes while upholding good communication skills when interacting with the general public.

Qualifications

Day-to-day Responsibilities

• Call on existing customer accounts and increase sales revenues
• Work to generate new accounts
• Provide accurate and prompt quotes
• Follow up on quotes and awarded projects
• Coordinate quotes and deliveries with the inside sales staff
• Help to resolve customer concerns
• Assist the Accounts receivable department in collections when needed
• Attend industry and product related seminars when required
• Preparing computer generated work orders for customers
• Work closely with Branch Manager
• Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in the Company’s product lines
• You will be expected to perform other duties as assigned

Requirements for the role

• Residential experience required (Roofing, Siding, Decking, Windows/Doors, Metal, Gutters)
• Road Sales; generating new leads outside of the office
• Ability to schedule and manage workday, meetings, customer visits, etc.
• Maintaining existing customers by relationship building
• Manage a CRM Program

Wage Range: $75k - $100k annually plus commission and additional benefits. In compliance with applicable law, this range is a good faith estimate based on potential employee qualifications, operational needs and other considerations permitted by law.
