Job summary

Service Partners is seeking an ambitious Outside Sales Associate to manage a Columbus, OH territory and drive strong revenue growth for insulation and building products. You will build relationships, present solutions, and close deals while balancing independent prospecting and existing account management.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of outside sales experience, knowledge of the construction/building industry, and capable communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• 3-5 years of successful outside sales experience.
• Knowledge of commercial insulation, building envelope, or building science is a plus.
• Comprehension of construction drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Independently manage existing customers and prospecting activity in your territory.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills; both verbal and written.
• Proficient computer skills to process and review dealer orders, requests and system generated acknowledgements.
• Travel flexibly to cover a territory with a 250-mile radius and overnight stays as needed (up to 75%).

Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength.
