Job summary

Neenah Foundry Company is seeking a results‑driven sales professional to join the NFC Infrastructure team. This role involves selling company products, delivering in‑person and virtual presentations, and managing prospects through Salesforce to drive growth.

You will develop sales plans, analyze market data, and advocate for new products and services based on market research. Occasional travel and industry networking are required to expand our customer base.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2–4 years of successful face‑to‑face sales to customers experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a collaborative member of the NFC Infrastructure team to sell company products.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual professional sales presentations and obtain favorable specifications for our products.
  • Utilize Salesforce and other tools to manage prospects, issue quotes, and communicate with broader team.
  • Develop and implement sales plans and programs to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of NFC Infrastructure products.
  • Develop a plan of continuing assessment for pricing, distribution, market, customer, and competitor information to keep abreast of new opportunities for NFC Infrastructure.
  • Recommend development of new products/services and plans for increased market penetration based on market research.
  • Obtain market intelligence, analyze and develop recommendations for changes, and communicate through proper channels.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the sales territory customer base which includes Municipalities, Contractors, Engineers, Supply Houses, Distributors, OEM and competitors which will be used in sales planning, forecasting, and market analysis reports.
  • Provide a weekly call report and discuss current activity in weekly conference calls.
  • Investigate customer complaints and claims through on-site visits and work with NFC team to determine cause and develop resolution.
  • Provide assistance to Credit and Collections Manager as necessary to resolve account receivable issues.
  • Actively participate in industry-related associations as required in order to develop and maintain key networking and business relationships.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Civil/Mechanical/Environmental Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2–4 years of successful face‑to‑face sales to customers experience required.
Licenses/Certifications

Current state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record.

Physical Requirements

Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

The worker must be able to access, analyze and otherwise work with, enter information stored in or obtained through the company's computer system, and to communicate effectively with co‑workers and third parties who have business dealings with the company's Human Resources operations.

Additional Requirements

As part of this role, participation in the MotusProgram is required. This program is designed to calculate a fair and accurate reimbursement rate for the business use of your personal vehicle. Reimbursement is calculated for each individual based on the expected costs for owning and operating a vehicle in your location. To qualify for participation in the NFC Vehicle Reimbursement Program associates must

  • Possess a current, unrestricted driver's license
  • Have a MVR check which meets the guidelines set forth within the company's Safe Driver Policy
  • Be fit to operate a motor vehicle
  • Have a vehicle that satisfies the MotusProgram
Travel Requirements

Up to 75% travel is anticipated with this position. Depending on home location, overnight travel expected to be between 3–6 nights per month. Weekend trade shows or sales meetings may be required.
