Base Salary $90,000 - $150,000 DOE + Commissions ($200K+ OTE)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our team in the steel industry. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining client relationships, and promoting our range of flat rolled steel products. This position requires strong sales skills, a deep understanding of the steel market, and prior experience doing sales within the flat-rolled steel industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the steel industry.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales with a focus on achieving sales targets.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to existing clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative or similar sales role in the flat-rolled steel industry.
  • Strong knowledge of flat rolled steel products, specifically pertaining to spot buys / transactional sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
